1. We believe in the Holy Trinity—the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2.   We believe that there is only one God.

3.   We believe that salvation comes by the grace of God the Father,        through Jesus Christ the Son (our Lord and Saviour) by the Holy        Spirit. It is a gift of God and cannot be earned.

4.   We believe that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from our sins.

5.   We believe the Bible in its entirety, nothing should be added or         taken away.

6.   We believe in the working of the Holy Spirit and the Baptism of the         Holy Spirit.

7.   We believe in the Deity of God the Creator of all things.

8.   We believe in signs and wonders, miracles are for today.

9.   We believe in eternal life. One day we shall rule and reign with God.
10.  We believe that worship is due to God and God alone.

Women of Excellence is part of Excellence Ministries.
This is an international, multi-denominational Ministry.
God has heard the cry of his people and has called us to go into 'Egypt' and bring them out in order that they may go into a land flowing with milk and honey to offer sacrifice unto their God.

The purpose of Women of Excellence is to raise up women, enabling them to reach their potential in God and fulfil the calling on their lives.

The first scripture God gave Joyce was Isaiah 32:9.
Rise up, you women who are at ease. Hear my voice you complacent daughters. Give ear to my speech.

The many debates on the role of a women in the Church have caused women to become focused on their own abilities rather than the ability of God. We have become preoccupied with the debate instead of being preoccupied with God. From Isaiah 32:9-20 we see the consequences of complacency. Our task is to encourage women to rise up from complacency and be troubled with the situation around us and do something about it.

The ministry is helping to build up the Body of Christ and we want it to be known that we are available to go to other areas to encourage and strengthen where there is a need.

God gave the vision of this Ministry to Joyce Vassel in May 1998. The first Conference 'Women Running the Race with Excellence to Win' took place in September 1998. About 150 women attended. The key words for the first conference were 'build champions'. We are seeking to build champions by revealing the real enemy: David became a champion only when he went to the battle line and saw the enemy for himself. Whilst he was in the field minding the sheep, he was ordinary, but when he saw Goliath, he realised the greatness and the power of his God. He knew for certain that he could make a difference and he did. He became a champion of Israel.

Each year God has widened the vision and we believe the time will come when we will have similar conferences all over England and indeed all over the world.
