Allow
Jesus to heal your heart
and give you bouquets of roses
instead of ashes.
(Taken from Isaiah 61 - The Message)
Joyce Vassel is the President of
Women of Excellence, an organisation to raise up women, enabling them to reach
their potential in God and fulfil the calling on their lives. She is also pastor
of Living Water Sanctuary, a church in Leighton Buzzard. Joyce was called by
God to raise up women and heal their broken hearts from the words in Isaiah
61. She preaches around the world, as well as the UK, with a strong prophetic
anointing and is uncompromising with her stand for the Lord and His Word, no
matter how difficult the circumstances.
Joyce lives in Milton Keynes with her husband, Carvel and two children.
Bouquets of Roses is her first book.
'Becoming
a 'woman of power' is not about power dressing,
juggling a career, family and church whilst zooming around the world doing
a conference here and a conference there.
It might incorporate some of those things but what makes a woman of power
is the measure she trusts in God.'

The
message is challenging.
The question isare you ready to let God's glory shine through you
and give the accolades and all the glory to God
as bouquets of roses to your King?
Pastor
Joyce Vassel takes a look at some Bible heroes and along with her own
experiences, shows us how:
Like Leah we can praise God in trying times, confident that we are loved.
We can have victory in our situations, along with Deborah and echo the
words of the angel to Mary, 'For with God nothing is impossible.'
Ruth points us towards order, demonstrating practically how we can be
faithful, available and teachable.
True worship is revealed through Esther, Hannah, David and the woman
of Canaan.
Abigail shows us life from an eternal perspective.
Lastly Joyce tells us through the story of Lazarus that the only way
to take our place in the body of Christ is to respond fully to Jesus
and claim our lives of abundance.
